Melad Tree Farm serves residents near Falcon Crest Golf Club. New construction homes often start with bare yards that need mature trees. Golf course communities also require trees that match HOA landscape guidelines.
Alkaline Treasure Valley soil demands locally acclimated tree stock. Trees grown in this region adapt faster to hot summers and cold winters. Our orchard grows trees for 5 to 10 years before they reach your yard.
Homeowners in Valor, Trilogy, and Reveille subdivisions often start with new landscapes. Your yard needs trees that handle alkaline clay soils and summer heat from day one.
Kuna soils often contain a hard layer called caliche at about 30 inches deep. Our trees are root-pruned to handle this challenge. Species like Bur Oak, Honey Locust, and Chinese Elm tolerate the local pH levels well. The University of Idaho Extension offers additional resources on selecting trees suited to our regional soil conditions.
Residents in Meridian, Nampa, and southwest Ada County also benefit from trees grown right here in Treasure Valley.
Buyers at Trilogy Valor and other 55+ gated communities want instant curb appeal. Our 3–4 inch caliper trees provide same-year shade for your yard.
Golf course views often require specific tree heights per community CC&Rs. We carry shade maples, Colorado Blue Spruce, and ornamental crabapples that fit these guidelines.
Our trees range from 5 to 10 years old, so they arrive ready to grow.
Customers from Caldwell and Eagle also drive to our Nampa orchard for the selection.

New homeowners in the high desert often need guidance on
tree care. A few simple steps help your trees last for decades.
Water deeply but less often. This helps roots grow below the caliche layer where moisture stays longer. During summer, a deep soak every 7–10 days works well. Adjust when heat spikes hit.
Prune deciduous trees in late winter while they are still dormant. Watch for iron chlorosis, which shows up as yellowing leaves. This is common in alkaline soil and can be treated.

Trees are serious, and so are your questions. Here are just a few:
Can I plant trees year-round near Falcon Crest?
Fall or early spring gives the best results. Cooler temps help roots settle before summer heat arrives.
Do Trilogy Valor HOA rules affect tree species?
Yes, they often do. Check with your community manager first to verify approved species and height limits.
How far do you deliver from Nampa?
We deliver throughout Treasure Valley. This includes Kuna, Meridian, Boise, and Caldwell..
What size trees fit in a golf course lot?
Class II trees under 40 feet at maturity often work well. We help match the right size to your space.
Do you offer planting in caliche soil?
Yes. We auger through the hardpan and amend the backfill for proper drainage.
When should I water newly planted trees in summer?
Give a deep soak every 7–10 days. Adjust based on heat spikes in Treasure Valley.
