Living in Meridian puts you 15 minutes from our Nampa tree farm. We grow evergreens and shade trees for your yard or landscaping project. When you need trees fast, our farm beats waiting at big-box stores.
You pick your tree and take it home the same day. No delivery fees. We know how Meridian soil behaves and which trees grow well in your conditions. Call us to check what we have in stock and when we're open.
Meridian yards deal with heavy clay and strong winds. Trees die when roots can't drain properly. We grow types that handle your tough soil and summer heat.
Did your subdivision go up after 2010? Builder soil gets packed down hard during construction. Roots struggle in that dirt. We'll tell you the right root ball size and what to add to your planting hole. Star and Eagle customers have the same soil problems. We've been delivering trees near Ten Mile and Fairview since 2018.
You want your tree today, not next week. Walk our rows and see the exact tree you're buying. Driving from Meridian to Nampa takes 20 minutes on I-84 when traffic is light.
Compare tree shapes in person. We load it on your truck or trailer. Fresh-dug trees live longer than ones sitting in garden center parking lots for weeks. Meridian families choose our farm because we have more selection than anywhere in Ada County.
While Melad Tree Farm is based in Nampa, we proudly serve customers throughout the Treasure Valley and Southern Idaho.

Never been to a tree farm before? We make it easy. You can ask questions or just walk around on your own.
Tell us about your yard when you get here. How much sun does the spot get? How big is the space? We'll suggest three trees that fit. You pick the one you like best. We dig it up. Lots of Meridian buyers need trees that won't blow over on windy corner lots.
Getting here is simple. One straight drive west on I-84 gets you to
our farm. Start on I-84 West heading toward Nampa. Get off at Exit 38, which is Garrity Boulevard. Turn left and go south on Garrity. Turn right onto Franklin Road and keep going west. Our entrance is on Lake Shore Drive, easy to reach from Franklin.
You'll need your own car or truck. No buses come out here. Our gravel parking lot fits 30 vehicles. Plenty of room to turn around if you're pulling a trailer. Eagle folks can take State Street west until it meets I-84.

Contractors buy multiple trees from us for new construction. We keep mature sizes in stock for projects that need big trees right away. Meridian HOAs make builders plant certain trees within 90 days of selling a home.
Autumn Blaze maples go into subdivisions south of Chinden Boulevard. Colorado Blue Spruce works for privacy screens along Locust Grove Road. We sold over 200 trees to Meridian builders last spring.
Eagle and Star have growing conditions just like Meridian. Plant when it's cool outside so roots can settle before July heat hits.
The University of Idaho Extension says early spring and early fall work best. Roots need time to grow before summer stress.
Order in late February before everyone else cleans us out. Don't plant after mid-May unless you can water every single day through summer. Star customers usually want drought-tough trees for slopes that face south.

Trees are serious, and so are your questions. Here are just a few:
Can you deliver trees to Meridian neighborhoods?
Yes, we deliver for a fee. The price depends on how big your tree is and where you live in Meridian. Bigger trees and longer drives cost more. Call us with your address and we'll tell you the delivery price.
Do I need to plant the same day I buy?
No, your tree stays healthy for up to one week. We'll show you how to keep it watered and shaded until you're ready. Balled-and-burlapped trees wait better than bare-root ones.
What if I visit during Meridian Dairy Days traffic?
Take Franklin Road instead of the highway. Festival traffic clogs up downtown Meridian during Dairy Days. Franklin takes you straight to our entrance from the east. Traffic thins out once you pass Chinden Boulevard.
How fast can I pick up a tree from Meridian?
Plan for 30 to 45 minutes total. That includes driving and picking your tree. You'll spend about 10 minutes choosing and 5 minutes while we load it. Weekend mornings go faster than Saturday afternoons.
Do Meridian's new subdivisions need special tree care?
Yes, packed soil needs loosening before you plant. We'll teach you how to break up the clay and mix in compost. New construction lots need extra help during the first growing season.
Can I buy trees outside spring and fall in Canyon County?
Some trees stay available all year for landscaping jobs at our Nampa tree nursery. Call ahead to check inventory.
