Bristlecone Pine

The Bristlecone Pine tree is small to medium-sized, ranging from about 15 to 50 feet in height. The female pinecones are dark purple in color and have bristle-like prickles on the scales. The Bristlecone Pine is slow growing and is known to be the longest-lived species in the world.
